Based on Meto’s standard 1T conical fermenter, this used 1000L fermenter combines SUS304 stainless-steel construction, jacketed cooling, 80 mm PU insulation and CIP-ready internals.

Meto-designed the 1000L fermentation tank in SUS304 stainless steel, 60° conical bottom, 3.0 mm inner shell, 80 mm PU insulation and glycol jackets.
Modernized 1000L brewery equipment built on an industrial Meto design, adapted to your real project.
The used 1000L fermentation tank comes from Meto’s 1T conical fermenter design, with professional geometry and fittings that have been proven in many breweries.
Inner shell 3.0 mm SUS304, outer shell 2.0 mm SUS304, 60° cone, all TIG-welded and polished .
Approx. 80 mm PU insulation around shell and cone helps keep the 1000L fermentation temperature stable and cuts energy consumption in the cellar.
Etched glycol jackets on both cylinder and cone provide efficient cooling for the 1000L fermenter during fermentation and cold conditioning.
Internal surface polished to Ra ≤ 0.4 μm, 360° CIP spray ball, shadowless manway and hygienic fittings make this 1000L conical fermenter easy to clean and sanitize.
Design pressure 0.4 MPa, working pressure around 0.2 MPa, with PRV and safety valves – suitable as a 1000L unitank for fermentation, maturation and carbonation.
Every 1000L fermentation tank must undergo a rigorous quality control process prior to shipment
Check shell, cone, welds and jackets of the 1000L fermenter, then perform pressure and leak tests.
Deep cleaning, scale removal and passivation where required to restore a hygienic internal surface.
Inspect PRV, sampling valve, racking arm, gaskets and key accessories.
Provide basic test records and photos so you can review the real condition of the 1000L tank.
The 1000L fermentation tank is supplied with a complete set of hygienic fittings so you can put it into service quickly.
Adjustable PRV (approx. 0.1–0.25 MPa), pressure gauge around 0–0.6 MPa for safe tank operation.
Sanitary sampling valve (DN20) and 360° rotating racking arm for clear beer draw-off.
Carbonation stone and dry-hopping port can be included to use the tank as a 1000L unitank.
PT100 temperature probe with transmitter for precise temperature monitoring and control integration.

Count brews per week multiplied by the days each beer occupies a tank, then add a spare. A typical ale cycle is about two weeks and lagers take longer. Leave 25% headspace for foam. If you brew double batches into one tank, you need fewer vessels but a longer brew day. Send your plan and we will calculate.
Glycol jackets cover the shell and cone, and about 80 mm of PU insulation keeps heat gain low. Chiller capacity should cover the largest cooling load: several tanks cooling at once, fermentation heat and room losses, plus a safety margin. Tell us your tank list and we will size the glycol system.
It is built as a pressure-rated vessel with a safety valve, so you can spund and carbonate within the rating. Tanks are pressure and leak tested before shipment and test records can be supplied. Tell us your target pressure and we will specify the design.
The inner shell is 3.0 mm SUS304 and the outer shell 2.0 mm, TIG-welded and polished, with a 60° cone and CIP-ready internals. Sanitary fittings and a spray ball reduce dead zones and make cleaning in place quick.
Yes. The 60° cone lets yeast and trub settle to the bottom outlet for harvesting, glycol jackets support cold crashing, and dry-hop access can be provided through a port or the manway. Tell us how you hop and we will confirm the openings.
Yes. Port positions, manway location, jacket zones, sensors and pressure rating can be adjusted to your cellar. Custom work may affect price and lead time, and we confirm everything by drawing before fabrication.
