5000L Commercial Brewery Equipment (50HL)
5000L commercial brewery equipment for high-volume craft and contract production, with five-vessel brewhouse, large cellar, CIP, cooling and automation from METO.
Professional bright beer tanks designed for carbonation, maturation, clarification, and final storage before packaging. Engineered in 304/316L stainless steel with sanitary TIG welding, precision cooling, and full customization for microbreweries and commercial breweries.

Bright beer tanks—also called BBTs, conditioning tanks, or beer maturation tanks—are used for the final stages of beer processing, including clarification, carbonation, maturation, and cold storage before packaging.
A professional BBT delivers stable pressure, precise cooling control, and sanitary handling to ensure beer clarity, stability, and shelf life.
We manufacture bright beer tanks for microbreweries, brewpubs, craft breweries, and large-scale facilities, with full customization for carbonation, serving, or packaging applications.
Our bright beer tanks are engineered to support a wide range of brewing environments, from small brewpubs to high-capacity regional breweries. Whether used for cold storage, carbonation, maturation, or clarification, each tank delivers stable performance, sanitary processing, and consistent results that meet the demands of commercial beer production.
Our BBTs are equipped with essential features to ensure consistent carbonation, clarity, and packaging-ready beer.

This section addresses the most important technical and procurement-related questions about our bright beer tanks. From customization options and compliance standards to lead times, installation support, and quotation requirements, these answers provide clear guidance to help you evaluate our equipment and plan your brewery project with confidence.
A fermenter is where yeast turns wort into beer. A bright beer tank (BBT) is used afterward for clarification, carbonation, maturation and cold storage before packaging. It holds stable pressure and temperature, and often serves beer directly to taps or to a filler. Many small breweries use unitanks for both jobs, while larger ones add dedicated BBTs to free fermenters for the next brew.
Size it from the beer volume you move from fermenters at once. Many breweries choose a BBT equal to one or two brews so a full batch can be carbonated, then packaged over a day or two. Also consider your packaging schedule and headspace. Share your batch size and packaging plan and we will recommend a capacity and quantity.
A BBT must withstand the carbonation and serving pressure with a safety margin, and is fitted with a pressure relief valve and gauge. The design pressure is set per order, so tell us the CO2 volumes and serving method you plan. Each tank is tested before shipment and we can supply test documentation with your order.
Beer is cooled, and CO2 is dissolved either through a carbonation stone fitted in the tank, by in-line injection, or by head pressure over time. Final carbonation depends on temperature, pressure and time, so brewers use a carbonation chart. Our BBTs can include a carbonation stone connection, a pressure gauge and a pressure relief valve to support controlled carbonation.
A bright tank has a cooling jacket (dimple or cooling zone) supplied with chilled glycol, backed by polyurethane insulation to hold temperature. It connects to your glycol chiller through standard manifold fittings and is controlled by a temperature probe. Tell us your existing chiller capacity and we will check whether the system can support the added tanks.
Yes. We supply BBTs together with brewhouses, fermenters, cooling systems, CIP and packaging, so connections, tank heights and piping are designed to match. This avoids compatibility issues and simplifies installation. Share your project scope and capacity and we will quote the complete package or only the tanks you need.
