A 300L column distilling system for startup and craft distilleries seeking more repeatable output than a pilot still while keeping a flexible, operator-friendly footprint. It is suited to recipe development, local distribution, and staged capacity growth.

300L
420L
A 300L system should be selected around mash or wash availability, batch rhythm, reflux targets, condenser duty, and the facility's utility limits. These factors determine whether the equipment supports the intended spirit style.
| Module | Equipment | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Distilling Unit | 300L Still Pot + Copper Head | Red copper TP2 + SUS304 jacket/structure |
| Column System | Copper Column with Bubble Plates | 5 plates(Customizable plate layers per spirit type); plate cleaning + drainage device |
| Reflux Control | Dephlegmator | SUS304; DN15 tri-clamp cooling |
| Condensing | Main Condenser | SUS304; DN15 tri-clamp cooling |
| Flavor Module | Gin Basket (Optional) | 8.5L; 0.2mm filter basket |
| Alcohol Outlet | Wine Mouth | U-shaped outlet; hydrometer observation overflow |
| Cleaning | CIP Pump | Sanitary SUS304 centrifugal (explosion-proof) |
| Control | Electrical Control Cabinet | Temp display, pump/light/agitator control, E-stop |
| Piping | Pipelines, valves, fittings, supports | Client connects steam, power, water |
Column plates, copper contact, and reflux settings can be tuned around flavor retention and separation needs.
Build the equipment sequence around raw material preparation, fermentation, distillation, condensation, receiving, cleaning, and storage. The 300L scale should be evaluated against batch rhythm, spirit profile, utilities, and operator workflow.

A stainless electrical control cabinet supports operational safety and process visibility, including temperature display, pump/agitator control, lighting, emergency stop, and heating protection.
Note: Certifications shown in marketing material may vary by project scope and destination requirements. Confirm certificate scope during inquiry.

Malt Handling → milling & transfer preparation
Brewhouse → mash/lautering + boil/whirlpool
Cooling & Transfer → heat exchange to fermentation temp
Fermentation → jacketed conical fermenters for stability
Distillation → Pot Still / Column Still
Conditioning (Optional) → BBT / maturation
CIP → clean-in-place hygiene standardization
Packaging (Future-ready) → keg/bottle/can integration
For a 300L startup system, balance weekly batch frequency, operator time, reflux flexibility, CIP turnaround, local utility limits, receiver capacity, and room for future fermenters or packaging.
This capacity fits startup distilleries and local brands moving beyond pilot output while producing whiskey, gin, rum, vodka, or seasonal contract recipes for regional sales.
Review capacity, feedstock, target spirit, heating, cooling, cleaning, receiver layout, utilities, and future expansion before confirming the equipment configuration.
The reference system is steam heated through a jacket at 0.2 MPa, with a 300L working volume and 420L design volume. Electric heating can be quoted if you have no boiler, but it needs enough power capacity and changes the heating design. Tell us your utilities and we will confirm the option and power requirement in the quotation.
The copper column has 5 bubble plates by default and the plate count can be customized for each spirit type. A dephlegmator controls reflux. More plates and more reflux give higher purity, fewer plates keep more flavor. Tell us your target spirit and we will recommend the plate setup.
The still area handles alcohol vapor, so electrical items there should follow your local hazardous-area rules. Explosion-proof motors and pumps can be specified when required. Please tell us your area classification and we will state the configuration in the quotation.
You connect steam, power (380V 50Hz 3Ph as standard, customizable) and water. Also plan for drainage, ceiling height for the column, floor loading, ventilation and hazardous-area zoning. We provide a layout drawing and utilities list.
With more plates and reflux it produces high-purity neutral spirit such as vodka or alcohol. With fewer plates and the optional 8.5 L gin basket it can produce gin, and it supports recipe development and local distribution. For whiskey or rum, a pot or hybrid still may suit better; tell us your product.
The main factors are material (red copper TP2 and stainless), number of plates, heating method, automation, optional parts like the gin basket, whether fermentation and CIP equipment are included, and shipping. Our sales team prepares the quotation once you send your requirements.
Provide target spirits, production calendar, wash volume, proof goals, utilities, floor plan, destination standards, staffing assumptions, and expansion priorities.
We can design the 500L system to be packaging-ready (keg/bottle/can integration) to avoid future rework.
