METO’s 5000L commercial brewery equipment is a 50HL production platform for high-volume craft breweries, contract brewing and multi-market distribution. The system can combine a five-vessel brewhouse, mixed-size fermentation cellar, service water, large glycol cooling, automated CIP and production controls. Packaging is sized separately from the confirmed package mix and operating hours.
The key design parameters and utilities below define capacity, brewing rhythm and integration requirements for a 50HL commercial brewery system. Final cellar, cooling, CIP and packaging capacities are confirmed in the approved process model and BOM.

This 5000L brewery equipment package is designed as a complete, scalable production line — minimizing vendor coordination and speeding up commissioning.
Malt Milling & Handling -> 50HL Five-Vessel Brewhouse -> Fermentation Tanks -> Bright Beer Tanks -> Glycol Cooling -> CIP Cleaning -> Pipeline Gallery -> Packaging Integration
The 50HL five-vessel brewhouse includes the approved process vessels, pumps, heat exchange, oxygenation, platform and material handling. Mixed-size fermentation and bright beer tanks can be used when supported by the production calendar; final quantities are confirmed in the approved BOM.
Built for stable high-throughput brewing, with engineered heating, stirring, lautering, and whirlpool performance to support 6–8 batches/day.
Conical fermentation tanks built for process consistency: precise temperature control, sanitary construction, validated pressure/leak testing, and clean-in-place coverage.
Service water, glycol storage, dual-chiller duty and circulation pumps are sized from the verified 50HL brewing schedule, cellar load, packaging plan and local ambient conditions.
The reference cooling concept uses dual 50HP-class chillers. Cooling capacity, gross power, refrigerant, glycol volume and pump duty must match the approved vendor selection sheet and final cellar calculation.
A dedicated CIP station improves product safety and shortens downtime between batches. This configuration supports alkaline, acid, sterile water, and hot water cycles with sanitary pumps and pneumatic valve routing.
Alkaline, acid, sterile water and hot water capacities, heating areas, pump duties, valve routing and return strategy are confirmed in the approved 50HL CIP process design. Final values must match the BOM and process diagram.
Control systems act as the “brain” of your production line — coordinating recipes, temperatures, pump logic, safety interlocks, and cleaning cycles to reduce labor dependency and keep output predictable.
A complete beer bottle line designed for low oxygen pickup, stable filling at 0–4°C, and PU-controlled tunnel pasteurization. Suitable for modern craft breweries aiming at consistent packaged beer quality.

Relevant tanks and pressure-bearing components are manufactured in food-grade SS304 or SS316 as specified, with sanitary TIG welding, controlled surface finishing, and documented inspection records. All applicable equipment undergoes documented 48-hour water and pressure testing before shipment. CE, UL, and CSA compliance documentation is available for the applicable equipment scope and destination-market requirements. METO also provides layout, utilities, commissioning guidance and long-term expansion support.
Configuration based on brewing workflows, not generic tank lists.

Malt Handling → milling & transfer preparation
Brewhouse → mash/lautering + boil/whirlpool
Cooling & Transfer → heat exchange to fermentation temp
Fermentation → jacketed conical fermenters for stability
Conditioning (Optional) → BBT / maturation
CIP → clean-in-place hygiene standardization
Packaging (Future-ready) → keg/bottle/can integration
Choose 50HL when high-volume craft or contract production requires a large cellar, automated utilities and a packaging line sized from the real package mix.
A 50HL brewhouse only creates value when the cellar, utilities and packaging line can absorb each batch. Model brews per day, tank residence time, SKU volume, package format and packaging hours before fixing fermenter sizes or line speed. A 2000BPH bottle line is a reference option, not a universal match for every 50HL project.

Answers for engineering and procurement teams evaluating a 5000L brewery equipment project.
Multiply 50 hl per brew by brews per day and operating days, then allow for losses. For example, one brew a day for 250 days is 12,500 hl before losses. The design supports 6–8 brews a day, but fermenters and packaging set the practical limit.
Packaging is sized separately: take daily beer volume, the mix of kegs, cans and bottles, and operating hours, then add margin. The reference bottle line is 2000 bottles per hour with oxygen pickup up to 0.03 ppm. Tell us your package mix.
The cellar is mixed-size, with tanks matched to brew size and number of brews per day. Multiply brews per day by days in tank, then add spare tanks and bright tanks. Share your volume and styles and we will propose the tank mix.
The price depends on the five-vessel brewhouse, mixed-size cellar, large glycol system, automated CIP, controls, packaging, certification, and shipping. We provide a specific quotation based on your scope.
For 50 hl, steam is the standard: efficient and even for large vessels (reference demand 0.5 t/h). Electric needs extremely high power. Direct fire is difficult to control at this size. We help compare energy costs.
Plan for 380V 50Hz (customizable), cold water 2–4°C, glycol -5°C, steam, drainage, compressed air, ventilation, a tall building and strong floors for large tanks. We provide the layout.
A 50 hl system has large tanks and high peaks. Size for the busiest day, with several tanks crashing together, plus fermentation heat and about 20% spare. A glycol buffer tank helps. We calculate from your tanks.
Lead time follows approval of the process model and BOM, fabrication, testing and loading, and is stated in the quotation. Large vessels ship in multiple containers or flat racks under your chosen term. We support installation.
Send your annual production target, brews per day, cellar strategy, package mix, packaging hours, utilities and factory drawings. METO will prepare a verified 50HL process model, BOM, utility load and commercial proposal.
Packaging speed is calculated from package mix, container size, available packaging hours, changeover time and required cellar turnover. The 2000BPH bottle line is a reference option only.
