Consejo para el comprador

Choose 300L when a startup brewpub needs regular production, multiple fermenters and a compact path to future packaging and cellar expansion.

300L Production Planning for a Brewpub

Six 300L fermenters provide a practical starting point for rotating beer styles and maintaining a regular brew schedule. The final cellar plan should account for ale or lager fermentation time, conditioning, dry hopping and packaging. METO can reserve glycol, control and floor-layout capacity for additional fermenters as taproom demand grows.

Growing Brewpubs & Taproom Breweries
The 300L brewery equipment is a popular choice for brewpubs and taproom-focused breweries that are moving beyond pilot-scale brewing. This capacity supports more stable weekly output while still allowing flexibility in beer styles and brewing schedules. It enables breweries to maintain fresh beer rotation, reduce brewing frequency pressure, and serve multiple taps consistently, all within a compact cellar or back-of-house layout.
Descripción de la imagen
Pilot-to-Commercial Transition Breweries
For breweries transitioning from pilot systems to small commercial production, 300L brewery equipment offers a natural step forward. It allows brewers to run recipes under more realistic production conditions while keeping operational risks and raw material costs manageable. The process flow, tank sizing logic, and control approach closely resemble larger systems, making future upgrades to 500L or 1000L smoother and less disruptive.

Brewing Schools & Professional Training Centers
Brewing education institutions often adopt 300L systems to bridge the gap between classroom-scale brewing and real commercial operations. This size provides hands-on training with professional-grade brewhouse equipment, fermenters, and utilities, while allowing instructors to demonstrate batch planning, cellar management, and basic production economics more clearly than with very small systems.

FAQ (Procurement & Engineering Focus)

Answers for engineering and procurement teams evaluating a 300L brewery equipment project.

The reference package contains a 150 kg/hr malt mill with magnet removal, a two-vessel brewhouse (MT/LT and KT/WT), a 500L hot liquor tank, six 300L dimple-jacket fermenters, an 800L glycol tank with a 3P air-cooled chiller (-5°C outlet), a portable 50L CIP station and a digital control cabinet upgradeable to PLC.

Six tanks let a brewery brew several times a week while earlier batches ferment, supporting roughly three brews a week on a two-week cycle. This keeps the brewhouse busy and lets you offer a range of beers. You can reduce or increase the number to suit your plan.

Beer per brew multiplied by weekly brews and by four. With six 300L fermenters and a two-week ale cycle, about three brews a week gives roughly 12 brews, or 3,600 liters a month. Longer beers need more tank time. This is an example, not a guarantee.

Start from your weekly brews and tank days, then add a spare. The reference package has six. Fewer tanks work for fewer brews or longer sales cycles. A separate bright tank is optional.

The price depends on number of vessels, heating method, fermenters, cooling, control level, optional packaging, certification and shipping. Send us your needs and the sales team will prepare a quotation, plus a suggestion on budget reserves.

Small systems usually run electric heating because it is easy to install and control and needs no boiler, provided your power supply is sufficient. Steam suits sites with a boiler. Direct fire needs exhaust and gas approval. Tell us your utilities and we will recommend.

Prepare electrical supply for your heating method, hot and cold water, drainage, ventilation, space for the glycol chiller, and ceiling height. The procurement checklist asks for voltage, water, drain and ventilation. We then provide a layout drawing and utilities list.
