Un molino de dos rodillos es sencillo y económico, y resulta adecuado para cervecerías pequeñas. Un molino de cuatro rodillos tritura en dos pasadas, lo que proporciona un endospermo más fino y una mejor conservación de la cáscara, por lo que el filtrado y el rendimiento son mejores para cervecerías más grandes. Elige en función del tamaño del lote y de las necesidades de calidad de la mezcla de cereales; indícanos la cantidad de malta.

El grado de molienda equilibra la eficiencia de extracción y la permeabilidad del lecho filtrante. Si es demasiado fina, se reduce el flujo y se corre el riesgo de que la masa se atasque; si es demasiado gruesa, se pierde parte del extracto. Las cáscaras intactas forman el lecho filtrante. Los rodillos ajustables te permiten adaptar el grado de molienda a tu malta.

El polvo de malta es inflamable, por lo que se recomienda utilizar sistemas de captación de polvo y transporte hermético; además, en algunas regiones es obligatorio contar con protección contra explosiones. Ofrecemos colectores de polvo por impulsos y estructuras herméticas; indíquenos la normativa local aplicable.

Divide el peso de la malta por lote entre el tiempo que quieres dedicar a la molienda y, a continuación, añade un margen. Por ejemplo, para moler 500 kg en media hora se necesitan unos 1.000 kg por hora. Indícanos el tamaño de tu lote y te recomendaremos un molino.

Sí. METO ofrece sistemas de molienda en seco y en húmedo, con hidratadores de grano. La molienda en húmedo o acondicionada protege las cáscaras y reduce el polvo, pero requiere equipo adicional. Te asesoramos en función de tu proceso.
